Deep ruby red color. Notes of fruit, pepper and spices on the nose, with subtle hints of vanilla and toast from brief aging in French and American oak barrels. Good volume in the mouth, structured, with ripe tannins and an excellent finish.

REVIEWS: 2003 don Rodolfo Cabernet Sauvignon. "A typical peppery character. Black currant and berries dominate the nose. Soft, round tannins really balance this wine with good acidity. A lot of fruit on the front end and a spicy finish of black pepper combined with wood." --- In the Spirit, October 2004
