An appealing red garnet color. On the nose, medium intensity, very fruity, and black cherry aromas. This is a young, medium structured Pinot with a savory red fruit palate.

The soils of the vineyard are composed predominantly of loose sand over clay. Since the climate is considered ’semi-arid’, irrigation is a necessity. Fortunately, we have the Diamante Mountain River which provides a constant flow of water, whose source is the melting snow of the Andes.
The 2013 harvest began early March to mid-April and was a success because of a long, cool growing season. With steady spring rains and lack of major frost and hail, our grapes were able to have longer hang times, and full maturation. This season was reported to have lower pH levels, which means higher acidity and more vibrant wines. All varieties will have a sense freshness, with wonderful aromatic profiles.
Fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature between 73°F to 80°F in stainless steel for 12 days.
